November selection: Mad Mabel by Sally Hepworth An 81-year-old woman with a dark, carefully hidden past finds her secrets resurfacing when a curious young girl moves in next door and befriends her. As the truth about her past comes to light, she must confront the deadly events that have followed her throughout her life. The Seniors Book Club meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 2:00 PM in the Training Room on the 2nd floor of the Downtown Library. Register to reserve your spot in the meeting. Book club kit copies are available for participants October 16th. Visit the Adult Information Desk on the 2nd floor to get your copy. These are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
