This writing workshop is great for those interested in creative nonfiction, playwriting, and anyone whose writing draws from the real world. Participants should bring whatever they like to write with, be it paper and pen or laptop. David Cheoros studied theatre at the Universities of Waterloo and Victoria. In Edmonton, he's written more than a dozen plays, often building on real events and historical documents. He's very proud to have also co-written two Fringe projects with his daughter Sophia. He's also directed more than 50 plays, having worked with Theatre Network, Workshop West Theatre and Northern Light Theatre. David runs arts companies for a living, and has worked with the Edmonton Fringe, the Film and Video Arts Society, LitFest, Metro Cinema and the Edmonton Arts Council.
