Commercial Roofing Estimator, Iron Shield Roofing (Edmonton / Calgary, AB)
Full-time, year-round. Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Iron Shield Roofing is a commercial, multi-family and residential roofing contractor based in Edmonton, with a Calgary office. We do flat and low-slope work (SBS, TPO, EPDM, built-up) and sloped work, and we need an estimator who can turn drawings and site visits into numbers the crew can actually build to.
What you'll do
- Price commercial, multi-family and institutional roofing projects, from small repairs to full tear-offs.
- Do site visits, measure, take off quantities and spot the details that bite later.
- Build clear proposals and tender packages, then follow up on bids.
- Work with our project managers, foremen and suppliers so the estimate matches the job.
What you bring
- 3–5 years of real roofing estimating (flat or commercial preferred).
- Solid knowledge of membrane roofing systems (SBS, TPO, EPDM, built-up).
- Comfort with takeoff and estimating software (Bluebeam, PlanSwift or similar).
- Clear writing, good follow-up habits, valid Alberta driver's licence.
