Tue, Nov 10 · 7:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
November is Radon Awareness Month. You cannot see, smell, or taste radon—but it can be dangerous. It is the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smoking Canadians. Lung cancer has the highest rate of cancer deaths in Canada. Learn about what radon is, how to check for it and how to protect yourself, as well as those around you. This class is presented by Jamie Happy, Health Promotion Coordinator at the Alberta Lung Association.
