Photoshop for Beginners: Quick Photo Fixes

Wed, Dec 2 · 7:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m.

Mill Woods · Hewes Way, Edmonton

Turn your good photos into great ones in this fun, hands-on introduction to the basics of photo editing! If you've ever been curious about Adobe Photoshop but felt intimidated, this one-hour workshop is designed for you. In this 60-minute session (30 minutes of guided demonstration followed by 30 minutes of hands-on practice), you will learn how to: Frame your shots: Crop images to improve composition and focus. Fix lighting and color: Brighten underexposed photos and make colors look rich and vibrant. Clean up distractions: Use simple tools to gently erase spots, dust, and blemishes. Add personal touches: Add text and export your final photo to print or share with friends and family. Prerequisites: To ensure everyone can keep up with the 60-minute pace, participants must already be comfortable using a mouse, keyboard, and opening files. (If you are brand new to computers, we recommend taking one of our Computer Skills classes for support on specific topics.) Creative Computers with Adobe Photoshop will be provided for this class.
