Sound Bath Meditation
Thu, Nov 26 · 7:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
Forsyth Hall (Downtown Library - 5 St. Anne Street)
Take a moment to settle in, allowing your body to find stillness and comfort. In this session, hosted by Vicky Sim, you will experience a guided meditation with sound bath. You’ll be lying on your yoga mat as you’re gently led with words to calm your thoughts, relieve stress, and bring you into the present moment. The sound bath is an immersion in soothing vibrations from instruments like crystal bowls and chimes, designed to relax your body and quiet your mind. There’s no right or wrong way to experience it — you may feel peaceful, reflective, or even drift to sleep. All that’s needed is an open mind, a willingness to rest, and space to let the sounds and guidance carry you. You can participate in a chair. Or you can bring these items to the session: Yoga mat Pillow (optional) Blanket (optional) Please note: the sound bath live music portion of the meditation may not be suitable for individuals who are sensitive to sound vibrations, pregnant women, and individuals with epilepsy or seizure disorders.
