Life Skills: Driving Safely on Jasper's Roads in Winter
Wed, Nov 4 · 7:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
Jasper is a spectacular place to visit all year round. In winter, getting there and enjoying it takes some extra effort and some special considerations. Join a Parks Canada outreach officer to learn more about visiting this beautiful national park in winter, being prepared for winter conditions in the mountains and what it takes to keep famous roads like the Icefields Parkway open to motorists! This program is provided in collaboration with Jasper National Park, the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies and three hours to the west of Edmonton. For more information, visit: parkscanada.gc.ca/jasper . This class will be hosted online on Zoom. The Zoom link to join will be emailed in a reminder email ~24 hours before the class.
