Loose Parts Playtime

Canmore Public Library's Preschool Storytime is partnering with Loose Parts Playtime for some special sessions! Drop-in on the first Friday of each month with your children ages 2-6 for stories and exploration with a variety of loose parts. Loose Parts Playtime is all about using open-ended materials that can be moved, combined, and transformed in countless ways. From sticks and stones to blocks and cardboard tubes, these materials inspire children to invent, experiment, and innovate without limits. Our program is designed to foster creativity, imagination, problem-solving skills, and social interaction through hands-on exploration with a variety of materials. Program Dates: Fridays, Oct. 2, Nov. 6, and Dec. 4 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Location: Canmore Public Library, Friends Program Room
